New for 2017 is the Jetspeed Xtra Pro Skate (2017 Model) from CCM. The skate is based on the catalog Jetspeed FT370 Skate, with the following Sports Excellence exclusive upgrades:
- Tongue: Tri-Tech 7mm white felt on the Sr. model (same as the FT1), OR a 10mm white felt w/ molded lacebite protection on the Jr. model.
- Top Eyelets: brass (same as the FT1)
- Liner: TotalDri w/ abrasion-resistant zones (same as the FT1), helping to keep the feet dry and skates light.
- Runner: SpeedBlade Stainless +2mm, allowing for extra room for contouring, more skate sharpens, etc.
In addition to the Sports Excellence exclusive upgrades listed above, the Jetspeed Xtra Pro Skates also come equipped with a RocketFrame Composite Boot, SpeedCore Core (lightweight, rigid and thermo-formable core) and Comfort Pads in the Sr. model only (soft pad around collar of the boot for excellent food and ankle comfort). To round out the Jetspeed Xtra Pro Skates from CCM, also included is a reinforced TPU w/ exhaust and print Outsole.
